This signed Lalique Bagatelle majestic crystal vase is a stand alone and easily creates a beautiful focal point in your home or office. The surface of this vase is adorned by joyful birds and a garden motif giving it a delicate appearance, however when you lift this vase you'll be impressed by the 5.5 lbs of leaded crystal - it's spectacular. Retailers currently price the Bagatelle any where from $1,500 - $1,300. This vase is perfect in every aspect.The Vase is 6.7"/17.02cm tall, the diameter of top 4.25"/10.8cm and the diameter of the bottom 2.75"/6.99cm. I have just had another look at the vase at the request of a member. I used a 10x loop and had a good look. On the bottom adjacent to the signature is a mark, I guess I would call it an indentation, almost like the engraver's tool slipped, size is 1/32"/.7938mm - maybe the size of a #2 pencil point. There are a few other other small surface marks on the bottom that you would expect with age, but you can't really see them without magnification and you can't feel them. This vase was given to me in March of 1981 and has set in the same place most of that time. I was unable to capture any of these in a photo.
