Jean Genet seldom found much peace and quiet when one of his controversial books was released for sale, and this title, "Miracle of the Rose," offered here in a signed and dated first printing (stated) is no exception. Still, it was vigorously defended by his fans and generously reviewed in the press. This very handsome copy comes from a collection in an environment free of smokers and ships to you securely packed in bubble wrap and a sturdy carton. A well-kept book that is a scarce collectible.
