This is a fantastic Faux Baroque pearl Miram Haskell signed necklace with a very sophisticated leaf and baroque pearl seed bead pendant. The pearls are presented in increasing size until it hits the pendant and then they decrease again . The pearls are on memory wire with 6 extra beads on wire hoops for adjustment to neck size with the last bead reaching to 17 inches. The necklace is very comfortable to wear. The pearls are in excellent condition with very little wear and no cracking or chipping of the pearl surface. The clasp, which is the simple fish-hook type is also signed Miriam Haskell. The pearls are a cool white color and they are separated by a faceted silver seed bead spacers. The spacers show some oxidation. The Pendant hangs down 3 inches and has a background of 7 large leaves. On top of that t is a snow flake pattern created by baroque pearl seed beads wired onto another filigreed stamping. In the center of all of that is a 3/4 inch flat faux pearl with a metal stem. T is one very tiny surface fleck on the center pearl-about half the size of a pin head. The back of the pendant is 2 matching decorative stampings wired together and to the whole piece. In the middle of the back t is the Miriam Haskell oval stamping. The woman who owned this is now 94 years old and took very good care of her entire jewelery collection. It read more
