VINTAGE AMERICAN ART GLASS SIGNED QUEZAL IRIDESCENT GLASS SHADE EARLY 1900s I SHIP WORLDWIDE Being offered in this sale is a beautiful American art glass shade that was made by the Quezal factory in the first decade of the 1900s. The two founders of this company Martin Bach and Thomas Johnson were both former employees of Louis Comfort Tiffany hence the similarity of the pulled feather decoration on this piece and that of Tiffany examples being produced at the same time. The interior gold iridiscent finish is similar to Steuben Aurene and Tiffany Favrile. This shade measures 3 7/8" tall x 5 3/4" in diameter across the top. The outside diameter of the flared flange fitter is 2 1/4". The inside diameter is 1 5/8". The condition is MINT. T are no chips, cracks, flakes, hairlines or evidence of grinding. A great example of signed Quezal at its best. Please feel free to email with any questions. I always guarantee everything that I sell to be as described.
