WELL !! THE DIRTY DEED IS DONE ! MARSHALL FIELDS IS GONE FOREVER AND SO IS ALL EVIDENCE OF THE ONCE GRAND DAME OF LUXURY DEPT STORES But you can still have a life long reminder of the joys of shopping at Marshall Fields with this stunning "signed" Radko Globe Ornament. This ornament is unlike any other Radko ornament in that is not made from blown glass, but is made of brightly colored and decorated porcelain at both the top and bottom of the Glass enclosed globe. The porcelain is in rich shades of green, red, gold and some minor glitter. The bottom of the porcelain is signed "Radko" which is actually etched into the porcelain. I tried to take a picture of the signature but you can't really see in the photo. The globe portion of the ornament is a very durable glass which houses a stack of Frango Mint Chocolate Boxes. When you shake the ornament, the globe portion showers snow like a regular snow globe. The original Radko hang tag is attached and will be shipped in the original styrofoam packaging and original box. T is a gold trim string attached for hanging. Measurements: 4 3/4 " high. Globe has a circumference of 7". Comes packed in original styrofoam pkg. and Radko box This is one of 3 in a series of similar snow globes that were produced exclusively for Marshall Fields..
