Signed ROYCROFT "Little Journeys" BOOK STAND MEASURES: 26 1/4" Tall X 26 1/4" Wide x 15 1/4" Deep. The top is 14" Wide This is an Original "Early Mark" Roycroft Stand which dates from 1906-1910. /marks.htm It was found along with a Rare A&C Mission Bell and a great Hanging Lantern w/Mica shade being offered in seperate sales. This Roycroft stand is made of Oak and is signed with the diamond shaped "Roycroft"Hammered Copper tag. Structurally the stand is Very Good with only a partial seam seperation on the top and one missing tennon key. The stand is being offered as found as unfortunately it was painted. The good news is the paint id flaking and bubbled and the underlying paint color is brown - so if done properly the paint should strip cleanly. I've included numerous pictures; the last 4 were taken to show how the paint is peeling in spots, the underlying color and the oak finish beneath. In original finish stands like this typically sell for $600+ ... This one is being offered with No Reserve or a 1/2 price "Buy it Now". Good Luck !
