All my auctions are true no reserve auctions that start at .99 cents, this one is for a very fine moriage style jar signed with the Satsuma crest underneath. Featuring wonderful alternating cartouches of birds and floral motif for a total of six that can all be seen in the photo's to the left. This gorgeous example of early century Japanese art measures about 7 1/4'' tall at the top of the finial and is 6 1/2'' in diameter. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. Minor loss of silverplate is noted on the handle. The shipping calculator is set for Priority mail but if you don't mind waiting 5 or 6 days for delivery I can send this Fed-Ex ground or UPS ground for less. Just ask before going thru checkout and I'll be happy to accommodate you. I'm in the process of setting up an account with both of these shippers because the recent USPS rate increase is substantial on large and heavy items.
