Serenity Poster signed by creator Joss Whedon! 100% of proceeds go to support the Summer Hope Foundation, a non-profit organization which supports the fight against cancer. This, and many other auction items, are part of the 5th Annual Summer Hope Benefit. These items were sent directly from Joss' assistant! In 2007, the Summer Hope Foundation has grown exponentially, raising money for various cancer research facilities, donating money to American Cancer Society, AVON Foundation and Memorial Sloan-Kettering, and starting various programs. These programs include a Book & Art Supply Drive in which we donated hundreds of art supplies and donated thousands of dollars worth of books to pediatric cancer units, and the launch of the A Mother's Gift Scholarship, which was awarded to one male and one female high school senior whose lives have been affected by cancer. Lastly, we created the HOPE Package program, in which we sent out care packages to new and recently diagnosed cancer patients. We are extremely proud of all of these ventures, and it is becaue of events such as The Summer Hope Beneft and this eBay auction that we are able to make differences in so many people's lives!
