Anheuser-Busch / Budweiser "Soaring" CS-539 SIGNED BY THE ARTIST JIM WAINWRIGHT SECOND YEAR'S ISSUE "Soaring" stein from the Rosemont Illinois, International Gift & Collectibles Exposition CS-539 "Special Event Stein", Designed by artist Jim Wainwright, this exclusive event stein was only sold to collectors attending the International Gift & Collectible Exposition in Rosemont, Illinois, June 27-29, 2003. Anheuser-Busch assures that only 1500 of these steins were produced and the entire lot was offered for sale in Rosemont. They were sold to collectors that paid admission to the show on Friday, Saturday or Sunday. (parking alone was $11.00 - $20.00 per day and admission was around $7.00 per day) The process to acquire the stein was to stand in line at the "Special Events Piece sales area". The ENTIRE group of steins were SOLD OUT by 1:30 in the afternoon Saturday. T were many collectors unable to purchase one in the afternoon Saturday and all day Sunday. The demand for these steins was much greater than the supply. Made by Ceramarte of Brazil, this stein is sculpted in high relief and shows illustrations of three Bald Eagles in relief.
