Shimmering signed Steuben

REEF FISH

Be transported to the tropical deep. Spend hours daydreaming and gazing at this stunning steuben glass sculpture. The Reef Fish with blue topaz gemstone eyes is a magical piece of art glass. The aqua blue color reflects upward through the glass and reminds one of the Carribbean and other paradises.

This stunning signed glass sculpture is in beautiful condition with no chips, cracks, or other damage and comes with its grey Steuben flannel bag. This item has only been displayed and on the very closest inspection I find a faint 1/8" scratch on the base that looks like a fleck of dust and that is all. The winner will be very pleased.

The Reef fish measures approx. 7" long by 4.5 " high and is quite heavy at almost 3lbs.

The auction for this beautiful sculpture has no reserve and a fair starting bid for a larger steuben sculpture in superb condition.

Steuben glass is the premier American glass company founded by Frederick Carder in 1903. It ranks with Baccarat, Lalique, Daum, St. Louis, Tiffany etc. as one of the worlds foremost artisan glass houses. Steuben glass continues to be handmade by American craftsmen at the works in Corning NY. It is frequently the United States' gift of State to foreign dignitaries. Steuben markets no "seconds". Items that do not meet their exacting criteria are destroyed by being smashed in a bin. Steuben has no "sales."
