Up for auction, one all original Mission Arts & Crafts signed oak rocker. Brass plate on the underneath reads: Quaint Furniture, Stickley Bros. Co., Grand Rapids, Mich. This is a solid oak rocker with tiger oak accents. It is missing one small bracket underneath the arm on the left side while looking at it, an easy repair. Other than that, this Stickley Rocker is in very good condition. All four brackets holding the frame underneath are tight. All joints and connections are square and tight. Seems to be put together with a dowel construction. The handles and both arm rests are secure and tight as with the rockers on the bottom. This piece is being sold as found, as you can see in the photos, it has a charming and inviting character. The stain is even and has a warm glow. The photos pretty well show everything, please take a look. A little added attraction which is always nice for the serious collector is the original brass name plate. The dimensions: Rocker is low and wide, the rockers are 29 inches long, it is roughly 28 inches wide and 32 ½ inches in total height. The inside seat measures 20 1/4 inches deep and across at the farthest point back 19 ½ inches and towards the front 21 1/4 inches across. This rocker is being sold without the drop in seat. Will send this Fed Ex Ground, UPS Ground or perhaps you have your own carrier. Also, will be available for you to Pick Up if you are in the New York area.
