This auction is for a Tom Clark piece named Our Wedding. T is a #5284 on the bottom of the figurine. This item has had only one owner and was displayed in a smoke free home. What amazing detail t is to this piece! A great collectors find and a rare but perfect wedding/anniversary gift. The inscription located behind the gnomes reads accordingly " Dearly beloved we are assembled to greet this happy couple. "Our Wedding" celebrates their special day, whether it is today, tomorrow, a year ago, or maybe even twenty-five years ago. T is no other day in a couple's life together that creates such a lasting treasury of memories. The bride and groom are standing before the traditional wedding invocation from the Book of Common Worship, used by many denominations. It is interesting that to the witnesses who have come to share in their joy. Some "reverently," "happiness," and "comfort." T is space left on the cover of the small book so that it may be personalized with names and a date. I gave this couple a traditional English sixpence for luck, though their smiles say they've already been blessed with both luck and love. This is such a heart felt piece, I hope it brings love, joy and happiness to you and yours!
