Vietnam War Poster Print By former 1st Cavalry Division combat photographer Terry A. Moon.12 x 19 inches on heavy paper, this monochrome poster print is an artistic representation of two of his photographs done in a textured style of the late 60s.A machine gunner from Company C, 1st Battalion, 8th Cavalry rides in on the skid of the 227th lift ship (top photo). A Grenadier from C1/8 is the last one out of the lift ship (bottom photo). One of his buddies waits, and a machine gunner struggles with his heavy load. They will quickly join the perimeter during a combat assault near Xuan Loc. The small "instant landing zone" was created in dense jungle by a 10,000 pound bomb called a "Daisy Cutter". The heavy overcast and deep jungle all around create a dark gloomy atmosphere.
