Very good plus. Wolfgang Tillmans, one of the most internationally recognized young photographers, has developed a style that is often imitated but seldom matched. This is the only book to cover his entire career, from his best selling debut portraits in 1995 at the age of 24 to his most recent, abstract works installed in major museums. Tillmans' explorations of portraiture, landscape and abstract genres are uniquely recognizable. Tillmans has presented his work around the world and was the subject of a retrospective at Tate Britain in 2003. Alongside portraits, Tillmans has expanded his subject to include architecture, landscape and still life, and he has produced installations of his work reminiscent of Raymond Pettibon and the collage techniques of the 1960s conceptual artists.
