Silk French fashion doll two-piece gown. This piece is in very frail condition but could possibly be used for pattern study, restoration or for parts. It is completely hand-sewn. It has melting and tearing, missing silk, fraying and more. The gown top and the gown skirt hem (only) are cotton gauze lined. Though this gown is styled similar to an 1860's gown, we do not believe that it is antique but it does appear to be 50 or 60 years old and made with some antique laces and materials. Top measures approximately 3 3/4 inches long from the shoulder seam to the lower front edge. The sleeves are approximately 4 1/4 inches long from the sleeve center top seam to the arm opening edge. The arm opening measures approximately 3 inches around at the most narrow portion of the sleeve. The shoulder to shoulder measurement at the back is approximately 4 inches. The skirt measures approximately 10 inches long. The skirt waist measures approximately 5 1/2 inches around. This item is being sold AS IS due to its poor condition.
