Rich burgundy tones with ivory, navy blue and sage green are featured on this vintage silk rug from Italy. I believe this was used or hung like a tapestry wall hanging and not used functionally as a rug as it is in very good condition including the silk fringe. This is an estate piece which came with a companion piece that I am keeping. The original cloth tag stating made in Italy is still affixed to that one but not to the piece being offered only a stamp. Design is classic, color vibrant showing no signs of wear. High bidder to pay 8.50 shipping in cont. US. Paypal, money order or check to clear.
