This Silva Palmeira original Watercolor was purchased at his gallery in Portugal in 1990 while I was on my honeymoon. Times have changed and I have to let it go. It is painted on canvas and measures 6.5" by 8.5" and is framed in a glass covered silver leaf 14" by 10.5" frame. It has been in storage for decades and having discovered it recently, I thought someone who can appreciate this artist would enjoy it more. I'm not an art specialist, but I noticed a small, what looks like a run of half an inch in the picture on the left middle side. Not perceptible, unless you are OCD like me. Other than that it is pristine. On ArtElection and other sites, you can find some of his work of similar size priced at approximately $470 (350EU), so I started it off at roughly half of that. Email me with any questions and thanks for looking. Below is a little about the author; Was born in em Santarém in 1934. Silva Palmeira begun his artistic career as painter in ceramics in 1948. At that time studied design and painting with Ramos Ribeiro. His first collective exhibition took place in Goa and his first solo show at Salão de Turismo de Santarém, in 1963.In 1977, created the first work on tapestry and with two more artists founded the group G.I.P.In 1977 was awarded in Paris with the Silver Medal, Mérite et Dévouemant Françaisand on the following year
