Up for auction is an Silver Age DC Mystery in Space "Menace of the Aqua-Ray Weapon!" #69 August 1961 in Fair to Good 1.5 condition. See my comments and the pictures. Keep in mind, I'm not a professional grader, but I have had the experience of grading hundreds of my dads collection and you can see that from my other auctions and feedback I take great care in assessing the comic book. I am working off of the Ebay Pricing Guide, so please refer to it is for reference. I try to be as conservative as possible and the imperfections for this copy are as follows;Very good color and reflectivity with minor stress creases and color breaks along spine. The grade is primarily because the cover is split and detached from the staples while the front cover is still attached. Minor blunting and breaks on spine, with tanning in frame and foxing. Small piece bent (chipped off when I put it back in the bag. I kept it in case you want it.) back at right edge middle with minor creasing. Top extreme right tip chipped with small creases and blunting at bottom right tip. Soft crease across "S" in title with light color break. Soft crease under Weapon, light ray and bottom edge middle. Numbers in pencil at right edge under stamp. Minor dimpling at bottom some color loss dots in purple area. Otherwise, quite clean. Back cover has minute chips at bottom edge
