Up for bid is a very rare Silver Age DC Comics Proof Cover - Superman's Pal, Jimmy Olsen # 56(October, 1961). This cover has been trimmed by the printer. Proof Covers were made by the printer and sent to the editor, for him to examine and give final approval. Proof covers have superb bright colors with a blank white oppostie side. Proof covers this old are scarce and seldom seen for sale. The Proof Cover is in good shape with moderate creases, rounded corners, cover wear, scuffs and scrapes, small tears and a slightly musty odor. The cover has 3 hole punches for binder storage.
