We use same Highland mint and bullion strike as for these Buffalos, meaning unlike a proof or government coins, these rounds are produced on fast punching machines and do not have a perfectly mirror shape and surface. Please observe the photos carefully to be sure you satisfied with the quality before you buy. These are in our opinion, equivalent in quality to the other bullion strike rounds produced by other mints, but judge for yourself in the sample photos, before you buy. These fetch the same price at dealers as other bullion strikes from other mints. Note that a proof or govt coin costs roughly $3 extra per ounce to manufacture, so we recommend bullion strike rounds to get the most silver for your money. As the economy worsens, no one will care if you can see yourself in the round, only that the weight is 1 troy ounce and the purity is 0.999 as stamped on the round with a well known design such as these Buffalos. Paying $3 extra per ounce for a useless mirror finish (or "free" vile of gold flakes or any other marketing gimicks), means losing 25% of your investment from the start.
