For those of you familiar with these medallions, you may know that there are 8 different varieties of the original "Debt & Death" Medallion.Variant #8's most prominant feature, is the Wide Reeding on the edge of the medallion. This is the only variety with the Wide Reeding. Variant #8 was the very last variety produced, and was produced to fulfill the very first order of the "Debt & Death" Medallions, Chris Duane's order! They were also produced to replace some defective medallions that were part of some of the first orders shipped from the Mint. Watch this You Tube Video , that explains the reason these were produced (turn down your volume for this video, its very loud!) These are VERY RARE, with production of approximately 3,900 pieces, but it is believed that Chris Duane holds the majority of that number. Total production for all varieties of the "Debt & Death" Medallion is less than 54,000 pieces, and are no longer being produced. Watch this You Tube Video , that shows all of the varieties. All medallions are from BU tubes, directly from the AOCS/Mulligan Mint.
