Somewhat LargeIslamic, Circular Brass Plaque/Tray, Inlaid with Silver and Copper . A somewhat large circular plaque or tray of brass inlaid with silver in a vignette arabesque design with writing in Arabic script in circular fashion. The diameter of the plaque is almost 12 inches. It weighs a little over 1 pound. The Arabic reads: la ilaha illa allah Muhammad rasul allah. Man jadd wajad [meaning: The is no god but Allah, Muhammad is His Prophet. He who is persistent will attain]. Most likely, it was made in the nineteenth century. A nice and attractive piece.
