Beautiful piece - I am not quite sure if thie cup portion is a chalice or what the two piece (which fit together) are actually called... They are both marked on bottom with the initals of either the person who made them or the person to whom they were given W.J.H. with LITUART SPAIN and a star... The "chalice" portion is marked with a cross at the bottom and the wording "ST. MICHAEL'S ALTAR SOCIETY 1976". The cup measures approx. 4" high and the "bowl" portion measures approx. 2 1/4" at highest and approx. 6 7/8" across. I believe silver plate (hammered nicely) with gold wash.. Just a wonderful religious item... Buyer to pay shipping for priority mail service (2-3 day delivery within the U.S.) with insurance. Acceptable forms of payment: Cashiers checks, money orders - and PAYPAL will ship immediately; personal checks will be held until clear - up to 10-12 days. Auctions to be finalized (paid for) within 10 days of end of auction - with communication from high bidder expected within 2-3 days after auction end. Failure to finalize without seller being aware otherwise, will result in ebay being contacted for credit on auction commission which will result in auction dispute process being initiated.
