1776-1976 National Bicentennial Silver Medal". This is the offical silver medal issued by the American Revolution Bicentennial Administration and weights one (1) oz of sterling silver. The obverse features a design of the Statue of Liberty, engraved by the Chief Engraver of the U.S.Mint, Frank Gasparro. The obverse carries the dual date 1776-1976 and the words "Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness." The border is ringed by 50 stars. The reverse features the Eagle from the Great Seal of the United States with the inscriptions "American Revolution Bicentennial" above and "We the People" below. It comes with its original velvet lined box.
