Silver Plated Ice Bucket International Silver Company # 277 Hallmarked. Beautiful classic shape. Two lion head handles holding rings in their mouths. Footed base has quadrooning around edge, as does the rim of the bucket. Lid has beautiful knob with acanthus leaf decoration around the bottom, quadrooning around top edge. Small ball on top. Ceramic liner. Silver is in excellent condition. I polished some to check condition. Does need a little more polishing. Knob is slightly bent, hardly noticeable and easily straightened by jeweler. Measures: base is 6-3/4" diameter, 1-3/4" high, rim is 8-1/2" diameter, height of the base is 8-1/2" tall. Lid is 8-1/8" diameter, height is 3-1/2" tall. Overall height with the lid is 12" tall. Ceramic liner is 5-1/2" diameter, 7-5/8" diameter rim, and 6-1/4" deep. Has rubber cushioning around inside of rim, rubber cushions in bottom for liner to sit on. Beautiful ice bucket also can double as container for flower arrangement or cache pot for plant. Wonderful piece of silver, excellent condition. No dents. Beautiful design. View pictures.
