*** Free Shipping to North America & Australia *** This is a wonderful new Absinthe spoon, created after a design by Francois Guy ( The creator of the famous Absinthe from Pontarlier ). SILVER Plated Measuring 7 inches (17.5 cm) and featuring the Wormwood plant cut into the design of the bowl. Used in the ritual of Absinthe drinking, w the spoon was balanced across the rim of a glass, and sugar placed on the slotted bowl of the spoon. Iced water was allowed to drip onto the sugar, and into the glass containing a measure of Absinthe. When the drink turns an opalescent shade, it is ready to drink.
