This is a superb Grape basket.A creation by William Cumyns & Son Ltd of London. Hallmarked for the year 1903. The cast pattern is an intricate design of vines, vine leaves, grapes and blooms all around it. The handle pinned hinges that work perfectly it is also patterned across the top. It has one edge knock to the base see photographs but no fracture. It may benefit with a glass liner but I don't know if it ever had one. The whole piece is solid silver and weighs 2.94 Otz. It measures 4.1/2 inches high with handle up, 3.1/8 inches with handle down, 3.1/2 inches across top and 1.3/4 inches across the base. Thank you for Viewing.OVERSEAS BIDDERS PLEASE NOTE!
