Silver Surfer #3 1st appearance of Mephisto - Giant Size - Overstreet Guide value in this grade $124/£72 99p START & NO RESERVE A very nice looking higher grade unstamped US cents issue. The squarebound comic is complete and lies flat. Interior pages are a supple off white to white. The cover's surface is clean, bright, glossy and indentation free. There is just some very minor general wear/stress/blunting and a very minor vertical crease near the top right corner. The comic would be at least Very Fine but for a transluscent stain to the back cover, at the top of the spine (It looks like the comic was stacked on top of another comic that had a tape repair, and the tape has discoloured the back cover of this book). There are no other creases or rips, tears, chips, stamps, pen marks, tape repairs or signs of restoration. A smart squarebound book in around Very Fine- condition (7/7.5). STRICT GRADING I've been collecting comics for nearly 40 years. Over that time I've upgraded most of my collection and have built up multiple copies of many issues. The time has come for me to scale down the number of comics I own by getting rid of duplicates and items that no longer interest me.
