The set is the only one like in the world, it was an Heirloom handed down for four generations to the eldest daughter as a wedding present. The tea set is almost an exact replica of Sterling Silver, Francis I Tea Set by Reed and Barton valued at $39,999. The family's money came from home windows, door and awnings, started in America , when they moved from Germany . Each piece is old world hand trades man, hand chased, richly detailed and meticulously hand-crafted. The design pattern is rich detailed bridal vines of life, accented with its yields of flowers and the families it develops symbolized by wreaths. It has a three wreath consistent pattern from tea set to hand blow, very light and fragile, etched glasses. It is fascinating watching the vines and how they interconnect to flowers or wreaths on the glasses, no two are alike, again proof of old world hand craftsmen and the stories to these pieces are endless. One new piece was added each time a wedding happened.
