Six Kings pattern silver tea spoons which are in such a lovely condition that when I started to try to trace their origin and discovered that I had a choice of two years either 1891 or 1951 (letter Q) I made the mistake of believing they were 1951 the condition was so good. I am not a collector and initially found them in a box of bric a brac at auction and intended to sell them for scrap The scrap value is approx. £85 and I wuld be satisfied with that, but they are too nice and I do not want to do this so here they are. Unfortunately I must start the bidding at £97 to defray my auction expenses. The size of the spoons is 5 and 1/2 inches long and the total weight is about 186 grammes. The photo's show the hallmark and J.A.T.S. which is the makers initials John Aldwinckle and Thomas Salter, and also the backs of the spoons all are in wonderful condition.
