Large Sheffield oval silverplate serving tray with shaped top, circa 1820-40. Cut out hearts for handles bordered by pierced scrollwork, the sides have pierced linear bars with circles over and under with gadrooned rim. Sets on four squat round feet, 27''L x 15 1/2''W x 3 1/2''H. Good condition. From a Connecticut estate.
