NOTE: this auction is for one item only. The reverse is the 3rd item in the 3rd row down of the common ob.and rev. pic. of 20 different items Silver and maybe a few si pl listings tonight. Some quite rare and elusive ul so called $'s and 1 or 2 so called comm.half $'s. Rarest of t he comm. MTT's. The silver version was struck in very low # of pieces in a range usually from 1--500 pieces total with the majority around 200 or less. The silver were often presentation pieces reserved for just a few. All will start at just $35. I do not have the time to look up actual mintages and I am missing a couple of the 'Heath' ref. books. How many of these rare pieces were melted during the high priced silver days? Compare the start price to the 1 oz. silver eagles struck by the US mint. A bargain to be had by the astute collector/investor. Just 20 pieces will be offered tonight. All pics were taken through 1 or 2 layers of the PVC free flip that they have been stored in for several years.
