Unusual Victorian Love Token Watch Fob. Three dimes, dated 1838, 1876, and 1877. Note: the 1838 dime has a different face from the others, it does not say "United States of America" has a border of 13 stars only. The backs of the dimesd are engraved Maggie, S.A.E. and A.L.N. At the end of the fob is a small, textured, silver ball, which I presume was added for weight. All original, as found. Part of a small collection of love token jewelry I've collected over the past 30 years, including other bracelets, and loose coins. MEASUREMENTS: End to end, including the clasp, the fob measures just under 4" long. CONDITION: As found, in excellent, untouched vintage condition. All original. Unpolished, with a lovely patina. The clasp appears to have lost some of it's tension: although it opens and shuts easily, it doesn't spring back to a closed position without help (although it stays closed). PAYMENT & SHIPPING: I can't invoice you until you tell me how you want your item shipped, so please contact me after the auction and let me know what you prefer. I accept PayPal, money orders and personal checks, and will ship when funds are available. I'll ship as you prefer, and insurance is required. If an insured item is lost or damaged in transit, you'll file the claim, and any refund will be made by the shipper. I charge for shipping and insurance at cost, and add a nominal $1.65 for delivery confirmation and handling. I'm happy to ship items together whenever possible to economize. I'll ship worldwide, but accept only PayPal for int'l sales and can only ship to your confirmed PayPal address. Note: if you're not comfortable with the additional $1.65 for handling and delivery confirmation, please refrain from bidding. Thanks. REFUNDS: Every effort has been made to describe any flaws or age- or use-related issues accurately, but please feel free to ask questions or to see more photos during the auction, as this is a final sale. However, I'll be glad to consider returns on an individual basis. If I agree to a return, your winning bid will be refunded if you notify me within 48 hours after delivery, and the item is returned as-shipped, in as-sold condition, within seven days after the auction ends.
