Rare Silver Fumsup from World War 1 A superb silver Fumsup Touchwood charm from World War 1, given to British soldiers for luck in the Great War of 1914-18. The little doll is giving two thumbs up, and his arms also move up to touch his little wooden head (Touchwood). The body of the doll is silver with little wear to it, he is nice and shiny still. On his front is 'FUMSUP', and down his back is the registration number Rd636612. The little wooden head has been touched quite a lot over the last 100years and there is a hint of the four leaf clover on his forehead, his ears on the sides, and the 'Touchwood' on the back of his head. There are two tiny holes for his eyes. The doll measures 1 1/5" tall (31mm) , not including the ring attached, and is 1/3" (8mm) wide. He weighs 1.9 grams.
