Up for auction is this nice youth flatware set in the "First Love" pattern by 1847 Rogers Bros. (International Silver). The pattern is No. 1937, and it was introduced in 1937 and discontinued in 1973. T are no monograms on any of the pieces. The knife is hollow handle with a stainless blade. It measures 7-3/8 inches long and weighs 2 ounces on my postal scale. It is in good condition, and has surface scratches commensurate with its age. The fork measures 6-3/8 inches long and weighs 1 ounce. It has surface scratches normal for its age, and slight wear to the plate on the underneath side of the fork right above the tines. The spoon measures 5-3/4 inches long and weighs 1 ounce. It has surface scratches normal for its age, and slight wear to the plate on the underneath side of the spoon w it rests on a surface. Shipping and Handling I ship quickly, always within one business day of receipt of payment. I request Insurance on this item is optional but recommended, and will be at the expense of the Buyer. I make every effort to accurately represent the merchandise and disclose any flaws in my description and pictures. If the item is not as described, I will refund the purchase price if returned within seven days. I will be glad to combine shipping on multiple purchases when packaging allows - feel free to email me and check. I charge postage plus a handling fee of $1.00 on the first item and an additional $1.00 on each item after that. I am not responsible for any damage that occurs to the merchandise once it leaves my hands.
