Welcome to our ebay site. We are so glad that you stopped by. Today we are offering our ebay customers this beautiful silverplate flatware set. This set was manufactured in 1938 by Oneida Prestige in the ever popular Grenoble pattern. This set comes housed in a very nice blonde colored wooden chest with a drawer for extra storage. In my opinion, this set was never used and grades far above average. Each piece is over flowing with original luster and none show any usage marks. The set looks like it was made yesterday. This set will consist of the following pieces: (12) 8 3/8" grille dinner knives, (12) 7 1/2" grille dinner forks, (12) 6 1/2" salad forks, (24) 6 1/8" teaspoons, (12) 7 3/8" place or soup spoon, (12) 6 3/8" butter spreaders, (2) 8 1/2" serving spoons, (1) 8 1/2" cold meat fork, (1) 7 1/8" gravy ladle, (1) 3 piece carving set, (1) master butter knife, and (1) sugar spoon. I do not see any flaws, plate loss, monograms or distractions. T are a total of 94 pieces in this set. This is a complete service for 12. With Thanksgiving looming so close, this set would make for a lasting impression. I do not polish silver that I purchased from estate sales. Many folks, much like myself, love the original patina that is sometimes found on silver. Always assume that the silver you are purchasing may need to be polished. I do take all of my pictures outdoors, you may tfore see reflections from the trees, sky, or surroundings. You may also see an occasional rain drop.
