YOU ARE LOOKING at a beautiful silverplated plate punch bowl. This is not a new one -- she has been used several times, it looks, and the silver plate is worn on the inside (but the outside looks great). With her are 10 cups. Funny, these cups are not worn on the inside, as the big bowl is. They look clean and shiny new. In fact, the inside surface feels rough and finely ribbed to the touch.
The punch bowl has a flower and scroll design, with a rolling-tier base. The cups have a scrolled, open handle, also with a rolling-tiered base.
Also included is a ladle, also silverplated (I am assuming everything is plated -- I do not know how to tell difference). This too, is fairly worn and a good cleaning probably wouldn't bring it back to its original state. Heavy, though, with a pouring spout on each side of the dipper bowl. Piece on back of ladle prevents it from slipping into the bowl.
Overall the bowl needs some care that I will leave up to you, including a general cleaning and shine. Those hours of work required to make a silver bowl glow like the gorgeous centerpiece it is are not in my schedule -- but I can understand why you do it. Silver just shines!
Bowl measures 12 inches across from rim-to-rim, and stands 7.5 inches tall. The cups are 3 inches tall and wide. Bottoms of the cups only are stickered "Made in Hong Kong." Bottom of bowl not marked or stamped.
All cups hook neatly onto side of the bowl for easy storage and display.
It's important to me that my buyers are not unpleasantly surprised when they open my packages. As a result, many of my feedback comments read things like "better than I thought" and "just as described." Bid with confidence!
