Wow! Vintage Silvertone Model 1484. I recently (about a year ago) had about $200.00 worth of work done to this baby. T are two new "Groove Tube" GT-6L6B power tubes. Some of the other tubes were also replaced, as well, although, I am not sure which ones. T is one "Sylvania, one that was made in Germany, and the other 3 have no markings. Overall, it works fine! All the pots were cleaned, or, replaced. Numerous caps were also replaced. However, it is not in original condition. A 1/4" output jack was added to the back. Then, somebody really got creative. The control for the tremelo speed now works as a 2nd volume, or gain, control. The reverb works just fine. If you’ve got the time, knowledge, and schematics, you could probably rewire it back to original, since, it’s all point to point wiring. The tremelo now only operates at one speed. Freaky? Yes! But wait til you hear this bad boy. Yeah, t is some light surface rust, and one of the knobs was replaced with an unsimilar substitute, also, the corner of the case (made from the finest particle board) got a bit banged up. The picture actually makes it look worse than what it actually is. It could be very easily be repaired bu using some wood filler, and glue the tolex back into place. So if you’re looking for a vintage tube amp, with killer sound, it is.
