This is a SILVERTONE hand-cranked VICTROLA. NOT WORKING, but could be restored by someone who is familar with these. Wooden cabinet is in very good condition, except that the four top corners have been damaged, see close-up. Other than that t are no serious chips, cracks, gouges, etc.and finish is actually quite good. Grill and shelves are also in very good condition with no apparent defects. Fabric is intact, with no tears. The turntable and drive motor have been dis-assembled and most of the parts are present, but, it is likely that a few of the smaller parts are missing. The "motor" (THIS IS NOT ELECTRIC) seems to turn smoothly. The pickup and stylus are present. Turntable has some rust on surface. Inside the cabinet is the wooden horn (speaker) which is in very good condition. The "motor" name-plate identifies it as a Saale Motor, type DD, number 190 477, series A, manufactured by H.G. Saale Company, Chicago. On an interior shelf is the marking "14 6"(see close-up). Weight is approximately 80 pounds. Size is 30" x 21" x 34-1/2" high. Local pick up is ok.
