If you have ever tried to buff, sharpen, or grind a folding knife blade, you will adore this beautiful holder. The tool is borrowed from the jewelry trade who has used it for well over 1000 years. Just place your knife into the tool, and it will be held fast in the leather jaws upon tightening the jaws. Do your buffing or grinding with no blade snaping, no burnt fingers, no black hands, no worn off skin, and no major slices to the skin. Just a finished project. The throat end of the tool is flattened and will open to a usable 7/8". The but end is rounded so it can be rotated when sharpening along the edge of a curved blade, when used on a sharpening belt.
