SIMON CLOUSERJUNE 23, 1785 HAND DRAWN LAND SURVEY OF 321 ACRE SURVEY IN FAVOR OF SIMON CLOUSER IN MIDDLETON TOWNSHIP, CUMBERLAND COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIAA great piece of Pennsylvania history that's getting harder to find and harder to own. This is an 8" x 13" hand drawn survey for Simon Clouser on heavy laid paper. It's a survey of 321 acres and is bounded by William Dreman ...... Robert Landerson...Robert Morrison.....James Thompson.....North Mountain . The drawing has the bearings and distances along the lines with corners called out like:...hickory tree.....post....Chestnut tree. This document has the surveyor's computations on the front top portion of the drawing.Clouser was a private enlisting in the continental army in 1777 under Capt. Donaldson from Cumberland County.Having this framed will be one of your best conversation pieces. .This is one item that is part of my personal collection from the past 45 years as a registered land surveyor in eight states including the state of Pennsylvania.
