This is a very sweet sterling silver thimble with 3 cupids and garlands of flowers around the band. The thimble is marked on the top of the band with a patent date of Nov. 21 '05. It weighs 5 grams, is 2.15 cms tall and has a diameter of 1.6 cms across the opening. The thimble is in excellent condition with no holes but it has obviously been used and t are several scratches on the band w it has helped push a needle through numerous pieces of fabric! It is marked sterling inside the cap along with the maker's mark of Simons and the size, a 9.
