This is a huge Simplex Railroad Jack. This jack has a lift capacity of 15 ton. This jack is marked Simplex No. 29. Templeton & Kenly Co. U.S.A. T are several patent numbers and patent dates of 1912 and 1914. This jack is marked 19 inches lift. This jack stands 28 1/2 inches tall and rises to an amazing hieght of about 46 inches. This jack seams to be in working condition. The top plate shows the most signs of wear. The teeth on the ratchet bar look great. I was having a little trouble with the let down at a full raised position. You can mess with the small lever beside the locking lever to create the release. This may need a little oil, cleaning or an adjustment. I am not sure if this is even a problem. I didn't have any wieght on it when I was testing. It only wanted to be a problem at a full raised position. Please review the photographs for the best description of the style and condition. Shipping is based on 105 lbs. I am also charging a $15.00 handling fee. This is a difficult item to handle because of size and wieght. The jack itself is aprox 95 lbs. This item mailed with United Parcel Service Only !
