You are bidding on a Simpson & Company bayonet made in Suhl. From the markings on the spine it appears that it was made in 1915. The blade measures 14.5" in length and it has an overall length of 19.75". It's in good shape, but I am not a collector, nor am I a professional. The handle is solid and I don't detect any movement in it. It comes with a metal scabbard which appears to be the original. It has markings on the spine (see picture) and some additional markings on the butt and the scabbard. Unfortunately, I could not capture them in a picture. It is old and by no means is it perfect. If you have any questions please ask before you bid.
