Singer 201 Sewing Machine WORKHORSE If you are checking out this listing, you most likely know the capabilities of this machine. Good things, as they say, come in small (albeit heavy) packages! The 201 is famous for its reliability, ease of use & maintenance, and ability to sew through leather! This machine is from 1940 and is still able to tackle all of your home to light industrial projects! This particular machine was found in our grandmother's attic (the case holds a little bit of that smell, but the machine itself does not). She was a tailor and used this machine for her home business. Because of this, it is not in "mint" condition as far as the paintjob is concerned. The light turns on with the plug, and it sews! The buyer might put some work into it oiling it to make it run even better, but it works as is. This listing includes a lot of extras, too! We are also including the extras we found with it: some for this particular machine and some for one called the Slant-O-Matic. Lots of needle attacments for this machine included.
