Excellent overall condition, has just been serviced and tuned up by Singer dealer and runs beautifully. LOTS of photographs below description so scroll down. Manufactured before & after WWII when chromium & nickel were difficult to come by, the Featherweight Blackside machine has a japan finish & gold decals. At present, t are less than 200 Blackside machines documented, so 's an opportunity to own a piece of sewing machine history! Serial number is AG010103 manufacture date of July 1, 1941 pre-war. BLACK pattern on side was made for short time . Nice decals with light wear to gold, overall very good finish to the machine with light marks. Black handwheel, stitch length regulator, presser foot lifter bar are all appropriately black. Original Bakelite foot pedal shows minor wear, plug is fine, feet intact, slight crack in one corner on bottom. Case is overall good, latches well and is ODOR-FREE! Top tray for storage. All a bit dusty. Included are Original 1941 SINGER instruction booklet, Adjustable Hemmer (35931), Narrow rolled hemmer, Additional accessories found were Bobbins and thread as shown. VERY lovely version of this highly collectible Featherweight Singer Sewing Machine, waiting to go to your next Quilting or Sewing Circle! JUST serviced as a bonus!
