For sale is a beautiful featherweight clone of a Singer 221-1 by Alpha Manufacturing Co. It is in pristine condition and sews a very nice stitch. The machine is complete with a carrying case, power cord with foot control pedal, three bobbins, an accessory box with a couple screwdrivers, pkg. of extra needles, operators manual and two keys for the locks on the case. This sewing machine is an exact new production of the classic model 221-1. It is all metal, same size and weight and all parts interchange with its counter part. Except for its peel off label, it is almost indistinguishable from the vintage model Singer.Also included and still attached to the thread from both top and bottom bobbins, is a sample piece of cloth showing the excellent actual stitch capable of this sewing machine.As with most all used sewing machines it is sold as is but I will include a very recent receipt from a reputable sewing machine repair shop that adjusted the timing and offered suggestions of various needles and thread to be used for optimum results which I will share with the buyer.Please feel free to ask any questions or for extra photos.
