I am "thinning out" my sewing machine and craft collections. This auction is for a Singer 221 Featherweight body -- not a complete machine. It does not have a motor, power cord or foot pedal. It does include all the mechanics to make it run, plates, levers, bobbin carrier etc. I bought this machine 10 years ago at an antique store in St. Paul for $165. I bought it specifically to be a parts machine for a Singer 222k Free-arm machine I had. The free-arm machine had a 220 volt motor and I wanted the 110 volt motor from this machine. I also thought at the time that it would be nice to have this machine for other parts I might need. (You know buying parts individually adds up and can be very expensive!) Well, I never used any of the other parts. This machine has just sat in a closet ever since then. The machine is in good condition -- no scratches or scrapes. The gold edges are rubbed in some places and the paint is in good condition. This auction does not include the carrying case. If you need a case, I am selling it in a seperate auction. This is great buy if you have an interest in sewing and could use the parts you could harvest from this machine. Or, if you like to tinker and make things beautiful, it would be fun to paint and restore. This auction is being offered with no reserve and will go to the highest bidder. Shipping should read more
