Singer 221 Featherweight Sewing Machine Loaded Serviced

Now then. This machine has been well used, but also well loved, and always cleaned and serviced. The machine runs and sews just as quiet, fast, and as powerful as it did when new. Cosmetically it is in nice shape, with no damage or abuse at all, but of course, being sixty seven years old, it is going to have some signs of use, and some wear and t from general sewing. I took the machine to the local Singer store and had it serviced by a factory Singer technician. It was cleaned, oiled, lubed, and polished. The original foot pedal is in excellent condition, and the power cords have been replaced for years of safe use. The tech gave the machine a one hundred percent clean bill of health, and said it will serve many more generations to come, with proper care. The case has some light marks and t too, and the handle has some wear, but I guarantee the case to be as solid as new, and has no damage or abuse at all except for the above wear mentioned on the handle. The handle wear is purely cosmetic, and it still supports the weight of the machine with no problem. The hardware on the case springs open, closes, and locks like new as well, and includes two keys. Everything shown is included, and likewise in very nice, preowned condition with no damage to call, and all extras work perfect too. Everything shown packs right up into the case with the machine just like it was made for it. How nice. The machines serial number is AF758131, and was made in Elizabeth, New Jersey, in 1941.
