This is a wonderful Singer Featherweight up for auction. It is in very good condition, it has some normal scuffs & light scratches from age and use but is very clean. The gold trim is all t,not much has rubbed off. The machine was subjected to a little corrosion on the bottom and on the hand wheel side and someone tried to touch it up as noted in the photo, so it looks a little dull along that side on bottom base of machine. It has the fancy scroll on the chrome face plate. The serial # is EF 285337 which indicates it's age. This machine was made in 1949 in Clydebank, Scotland. This machine has been fully serviced & adjusted by me. I have been a sewing machine tech. for 21 years and it is one of the strongest running Featherweights I have come across! It has the quality stitch people have come to expect with the Featherweight. It does not have the original black carrying case, but does have many different attachments. What you see in the photos is what it comes with. T is no owners manual but if the winning bidder wants a book I can get a copy made. Winning bidder to pay shipping , handling and insurance. Payment to be made within 4 days of end of auction. Happy bidding!
